My goal in office is to continually strive toward improving our great city, to protect our quality of life and provide quality services.
As a community, we have many challenges ahead of us. I look forward to working with the diverse and talented core of elected City government officials, the City staff and our citizens, dedicated to making Hampton better. Together we can make a difference.
I want everyone to feel welcome at City Hall and City Council Chambers - watch your government in action - and to also feel free to participate in decisions that affect all of us. Let's act in partnership.
In general, I will serve you as best I can on issues that will affect our community - present and future. |

My priorities, as a member of the Hampton City Council, are to continue to maintain reasonable spending and sound financial practices, and to respond in a positive manner to the needs of Hampton tax payers. It is my hope that Hampton will grow and prosper under the leadership of the Mayor, Council and all City staff. |

As always, one of my top priorities will be to continue closely monitoring the City of Hampton's financial condition. When it comes to the City's annual budget, we must have an unwavering commitment to fiscal discipline and accountability. By being fiscally responsible, we can continue to set standards and provide the highest quality of life for all of Hampton's citizens and businesses alike.
I will continue to push for a strong and active nuisance abatement program for the City of Hampton. We must refuse to accept the notion that we cannot improve upon our visual image, not only to ourselves, but to others as well. Holding people accountable for their properties will not only help to revitalize our neighborhoods, it could very well help strengthen our local economy as well.
I will continue to work each and every day as hard as I have in my past years on the City Council to fairly and ethically represent the citizens of Hampton on every challenge, issue or matter that comes before the City Council. You have my word on it. |

I am looking forward to working with the people of Hampton. I believe that a key to the growth of a community is more interaction between its citizens and city government.
Thank you for providing me the opportunity to work together with you to reach that goal!
