Compost & Brush Site
NEW LOCATION:
1236 Olive Avenue (South of the airport and cement plant)
Weather permitting, the Compost and Brush Site is open April - November. Residents within the city limits of Hampton, Iowa, may transport their yard & garden waste and tree limbs to the site without paying gate fees. Gate fees apply to those using the site, who live outside the city limits (see brochure for details).
Hours of Operation:
Mondays 8 am-6:30 pm
Wednesdays 2 pm-6:30 pm
Fridays 2 pm-6:30 pm
Saturdays 8 am-6:30 pm
*Starting November 1st, the site closes at 5pm.
CLOSED in the event of rain or extreme temperatures.
Holiday Closings: Good Friday, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Veterans Day, and Friday after Thanksgiving.
