Band Shell/City Park
Located south of Highway 3 directly across from the Franklin County Courthouse.
The Hampton Municipal Band performs weekly concerts at this venue during June and first part of July, and such events as Summerfest and other community celebrations are held at this location. Contact Hampton Area Chamber of Commerce (641-456-5668) regarding schedules and details for these festivities.
Park may be reserved for events at City Hall, with completion of a rental agreement and payment of a $100.00 deposit (refundable upon satisfactory inspection by City staff of the premises following the event).
East Park
Located along Highway 3, approximately five blocks east of Highway 65. This park is a venue for soccer games, as well as a disc golf course and picnic shelter.
Harriman Park
Harriman Park is located west of Highway 65 on the north edge of Hampton. A popular location for family reunions, receptions and picnics. Shelters are available for reservation; a four-season shelter (Shelter #6), and a partially enclosed larger shelter (Shelter #1), and smaller shelters (#2, #3, #4, #5 & #7). The park also has a playground and is bordered by Spring Creek, where several enjoy fishing.
Shelter Reservations: Reservations may be made at City Hall up to six months in advance, with a signed rental agreement and payment of rental fees. (Reservations cannot be secured by phone or on-line communications.) Reservation forms may be reviewed and printed from the "Documents" section of this website.
Shelter #6: $200.00 ($100 Deposit - refundable upon satisfactory inspection following the event)

Memorial Park
Located three blocks north of Highway 3 via 6th Street NW. Picnic shelters and small playground area available for use; no reservations required.
Progress Park
Located at 600 1st Street NW (north of business district); venue for the Hampton Aquatic Center (opened May 28, 2011), tennis courts, basketball courts, sand volleyball, soccer mini-pitch, little league ball games and playground equipment.
West Diamond
Located north of Highway 3 along Olive Avenue on the west edge of Hampton. Venue for little league and adult softball and baseball games (two diamonds).
