Notice to Bidders - 2026 Stump Removal

Public Notice:
The City of Hampton is seeking competitive quotes for the removal of sixty (60) tree stumps. Quotes shall be a one lump sum quote. Tree stumps must be ground to six inches below grade, the grindings cleaned up and removed to the City’s deposit site. All tree stumps must be removed before 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 14, 2027. Any damage to existing property caused by the removal of said tree stumps will be the responsibility of the tree service provider to abate. The tree service provider must be licensed with the City of Hampton. A tree stump removal list is available at Hampton City Hall, 122 1st Ave NW, Hampton, Iowa. If identical low quotes are received, the project will be awarded to the lowest quote drawn at random. The City reserve the right to reject any/all quotes. All competitive quotes must be submitted in writing to Hampton City Hall no later than 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 6, 2026.
